XMAS EVE ROCK N ROLL PARTY WITH ROCKIN' THE JOINT
To go along with the biggest Rock n Roll Party of the festive season, we have for you one of the biggest & hardest working rock n roll bands on the circuit when we welcome Rockin' The Joint.
Established in Dorset in 2001, three piece Rockin' the Joint are one of the UK's leading rock and roll groups. This experienced and talented trio of musicians can keep any dance floor busy with danceable tunes from the classic era of the 50's and 60's including songs by Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Burnette, Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran. They also perform songs from more contemporary artists like the Stray Cats, Brian Setzer and J D McPherson. The repertoire also includes self-penned floor fillers like 'Where Did it All Go Right'? from their popular studio album '9'.
During their illustrious career the band has: Played alongside Little Richard, The Comets and The Crickets. Played at auspicious retro events including Goodwood Revival, Twinwood, Newbury and Newark Retro Festivals. Appeared at many European events in Holland, France, Greece, Spain and Italy
RTJ is led by founder member Mick Robbins, who is renowned for possessing one of the finest voices on the circuit. He matches this with peerless guitar playing and sheer professionalism. The line up is completed by the top class rhythm section comprising Gary Bacon on slap bass and vocals, and Jason Bryant on drums and vocals. These 2 provide a driving 'engine room' of rhythm and superb harmonies that feature strongly in the band's live shows. Both Gary and Jason also sing lead vocals at times during the set. The set has never been the same twice and includes a wide range of rock and roll styles, doo-wop, rockabilly, ballads plus some of their own original material.
Plus Rockin' John on the decks playing all the best rock n roll hits from the 50's and 60's.
